Shanker is one of the finest directors in Indian cinema.In the past he worked as a assistant director for S.A Chandrasekhar and Pavithran.
His first break in hindi is "Jai Shiv Shankar" produced by Rajesh Khanna and directed by S.A Chandrasekhar.In 1993 his first movie Gentleman Starring Action King Arjun and Madhubala in the lead role.
The film gentleman made with a huge budget and became a big blockbluster in Tamil cinema during those days.
Then after he madeKadhalan,indian,jeans ,Mudhalvan ,Aparichit,Sivaji the boss and Robo movies which are universal hits,still now many people are watching these movies in online like youtube.
